Delaney Owens

Delaney Owens, Editor in Chief

In her fifth year on the Chatterbox staff, Delaney Owens is excited to work as Editor in Chief. She hopes to help her incredible staff cover an unprecedented school year and fall in love with journalism along the way.

Previously, she was the managing editor of visual elements and the section editor of both Arcade and Style & Culture. One of her favorite Chatterbox memories so far is of meeting and interviewing John Green, one of many authors who inspired her love of words.

In her time outside of Chatterbox, Delaney is usually thinking about Chatterbox. She’s also a volunteer at the Writing Center, a decent guitar player, and an amateur potter. She loves to talk about the Reds, Formula One racing, and New Girl.
