Currently at the Aronoff “& Juliet” is a must-see musical playing from April 8-20. This musical portrays a different ending of Romeo & Juliet, where Juliet doesn’t kill herself when she realizes Romeo is dead. At the beginning of this musical, Shakespeare’s wife Anne comes to watch his play, Romeo & Juliet. When she realizes what the ending is, Anne proposes a different ending in which Juliet chooses herself instead of Romeo. 

This musical is written as a jukebox musical, where all of the songs are popular pop songs, with just a few words changed to fit the story. With songs like “Since You’ve Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”, this musical shows Juliet’s journey through life after Romeo.
