Elena Brown, Managing Editor of Online Content
In her fourth year as a Walnut Student Media publications staff member, Elena Brown is bouncing off the walls with excitement to work as the Managing Editor of Online Content! This year, her goals are to win all of the website awards, improve student engagement with the website and foster a better community within the Chatterbox staff.
For the past two years, Brown has served as the Managing Editor of Student Life. Prior to this, she was a sports writer.
Outside of the J-Lab, Brown can be found playing soccer, both for her school and for club, volunteering at the Cincinnati Nature Center or reading. She also is a part of the JETS club at WHHS.
Brown hopes to attend Cornell University and major in environmental science. She would love to get a job as an environmental engineer for the EPA and be a part of the solution to end climate change.
Brown enjoys hiking, sewing and really anything she can do outside.
