Anushka Goel, Managing Editor of Visual Elements
In her second year as a Walnut Student Media publications staff member, Anushka Goel is thrilled to work as the Managing Editor of Visual Elements. Goel hopes to create fun, unique designs while becoming more comfortable with the design process.
In her first year in the class, Goel was the Section Editor of Fine Arts and enjoyed learning more about journalistic writing.
Outside of journalism, Goel enjoys swimming, hanging out with friends and reading.
Goel is also involved in HOSA medical club, Speech & Debate and Books for Kids. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical field.
![Costumes for ballet vary depending on the performance, but are always elegant and easy to move around in. “For 'The Nutcracker,' which is the one performance we do every year, the costumes… are kind of Christmassy, very festive,” Crutcher said. “If we're doing a traditional ballet, we will use the traditional dresses [which are] longer skirts. ![Students finish first in their heat of the physics regatta competition that took place Oct. 29.
