In his fourth year as a Chatterbox staff member, SENIOR Nick Robertson is very excited to work as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief. He plans to further student media at WHHS through the advancement of online content and student body outreach.
Nick is a member of the Quill and Scroll International Honor Society, was awarded an Honorable Mention in headline writing at the 2016 Journalism Education Association convention in Indianapolis, Ind, and works as a mentor of the Hyde Park Elementary School newspaper program.
Nick is also a member of the WHHS Student Congress Executive Board, and is the Deputy Secretary General of the WHHS Model United Nations club, as well as the principal bassist in the school’s Chamber Orchestra.
He will attend Syracuse University, with a dual-enrollment double major in Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Political Science at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He hopes to work in Washington, D.C. as a journalist, covering the U.S. political system.
Nick also enjoys playing music, namely the double and electric bass, as well as guitar, and loves his job making pizza on the weekends.
