Kylie Bridgeman, Sports Writer

In her second year as a Chatterbox staff member, Kylie Bridgeman is excited to work as a sports writer. Bridgeman’s goal is to tell the stories of athletes through varying lenses and develop her skills in sports reporting and feature writing. 

As a SENIOR this will be Bridgeman’s fourth year as a journalist, she has worked with the yearbook for the past 3 years and this year will continue in her second year as Editor In Chief. 

She is also the SENIOR class president, a student athlete in the softball program, the student ambassador president, a Nuthouse leader and a shift leader at Chick-Fil-A. 

Outside of school Bridgeman enjoys participating in community service, watching reality TV and online shopping. 

Bridgeman plans to pursue a career in journalism after graduating high school, either as a news anchor or a sports reporter.

Even after the mandate was lifted, a majority of students continued to wear masks for various reasons. Teachers and staff have advocated for tolerance and respect towards everyone's decisions on whether to mask up or not.

Students have had indoor lunch throughout the week due to the extreme temperatures. The current indoor lunch locations are the cafeteria for grades 10-12 and the junior high gym for grades 7-9.
