Elena Brown, Managing Editor of Student Life

In her third year as a Chatterbox staff member, Elena Brown is bouncing off the walls with excitement to work as the Managing Editor of Student Life this year. She hopes to foster better communication with her writers and to create engaging spreads. 

 This is Brown’s second year as the Managing Editor of Student Life. Before this, she was a Sports Writer. 

 Brown also plays soccer for WHHS. She loves to read and enjoys sewing. 

 Brown hopes to attend Cornell University and major in environmental science.

One challenge that Vikki Brown faced while filming Hear 2 Heal was finding extras, which she believes did not occur due to a lack of interest. “I think everyone is so busy,” Brown said. “It’s not that they're not interested, it's that they’re in sports or band or music and they have things already planned.”
