Grace Berding has been apart of the Chatterbox for 2 ½ years. Berding went from a writer, to section editor for Style and Culture, to her current Managing Editor of Student Life role. Berding hopes to bring creative page layouts and enticing student-driven stories to her sections.
Berding is a member of the Quill and Scroll Journalism Honor Society.
Berding is also the president of the non-partisan Democratic club at Walnut Hills High School. Through her club, Berding hopes to educate her peers and community on being a politically informed citizen. Not only is Berding the president of the Democratic club, she is also co-president of the student lead athletic cheering association, The Nuthouse. When Berding is not working for one of her clubs, she is volunteering for the Human Rights Campaign Greater Cincinnati Chapter. Berding is a member of the Community Engagement Committee.
Although Berding is unsure of where she will be attending schools in the fall of 2019, she knows she would like to major in business management or international business. Berding would like to become fluent in at least two other languages by the time she is finished with her undergraduate studies.
For fun, Berding enjoys going to professional sports games. Her favorite local team is FC Cincinnati. Berding also enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her free time.
