In her second year as a Chatterbox writer Chyna Smith is super excited to work as a Section editor for Style & Culture. She is definitely going to bring out the Style in Style & Culture.

Smith in the past has been a member of News and Features

Smith’s extracurriculars include Color Guard, playing tuba, and serving as a council member for The Cincinnati Youth Council For Suicide Prevention.

After high school Smith wants to go to college and pursue a degree in journalism and Music Education.

Smith enjoys social media and being an activist when she can.

Smith has literally everything planned out in her head and is excited to bring her ideas to life!

It was recently uncovered that coaches of various varsity teams at the University of Southern California and other universities accepted bribes to scout and recruit children of wealthy families and help to get them admitted in to the university. This admission scandal, also known as “Operation Varsity Blues,” has caused an outcry from students and parents alike who see this manipulation of the system as unjust.
