One significant moment for the lacrosse program occurred in a game last year. “Beating Springboro in the Regional Semifinals last year was pretty amazing,” Katherine Bowers, coach, said. “That meant we were one of the eight best Division 1 teams in all of Ohio.”

Although the season ended in a loss, the team gained a valuable lesson in teamwork and leadership. “I think this season has made me realize I need to be more of a leader,” Sanei Partridge, ‘26. “I'm a natural leader, but I haven't really been showing that to anyone, and I feel me doing that next season will help us get to state.”

The multitalented Ezzard Charles, a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, jazz musician and Cincinnatian, is depicted in this mural, titled Ezzard Charles: The Cincinnati Cobra. Charles notably beat Joe Louis in 1950 and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990. This mural, located at 1537 Republic Street and designed by Jason Snell, was completed in 2015, marking the 100th mural completed by ArtWorks since its program launch in 2007.
