Students across the country have organized protests at their colleges and universities regarding the Israel-Hamas war. Many of the protests have been pro-Palestinian, in which students have asked colleges to divest their funds from organizations related to Israel. 

Many Jewish students at these campuses feel the protests have become antisemitic and feel unsafe because of them.  

In an attempt to diffuse the situation, colleges and universities issued dispersal orders but failed, causing police to arrive and arrest demonstrators. More than 100 protesters were arrested during protests at various colleges including Columbia University, University of Southern California and Emerson College in Boston.

However, the arrests seem to only aggravate the situation more, with similar protests being organized and executed nationwide.
