On April 2, torrential rain storms caused floods and power outages across Cincinnati.
At around 6 p.m., 30-40 mph winds and lightning caused six power lines to fall, blocking northbound and southbound traffic on I-75.
The fallen power lines closed the interstate for more than five hours and many vehicles ran out of gas while waiting, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Monroe police.
Some of the power lines fell on vehicles, but fortunately, no one was injured.
I-75 reopened at around 10 p.m., but utility crews continued to work on the power lines to bring power back to communities.
