On Feb. 7, a 14-year-old student at Mariemont High School was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. The student made a hit list, consisting of at least eight students and one teacher.
The teen planned on using firearms from his house and was communicating with an adult co-conspirator from Colorado Springs, Colo. through text.
The two formed plans to rape and kill students and staff and discussed the possibility of using gas along with firearms.
The student was arrested because of a tip given by another student, Boom Swallen, who informed his father of the mass shooting plot despite being threatened.
