SENIOR tribute evokes emotions
On April 13, Margo Fisher-Bellman released a video tribute from other faculty to the SENIOR class of WHHS in response to the cancellation of multiple events because of COVID-19.
The 20-minute video gives advice and memories to comfort the students who are mandated by Gov. Mike DeWine to stay at home for the last months of SENIOR year.
The video has received a large emotional response from the student body. Students have said that the video is “cute” and “means a lot that the teachers and the principals and the counselors care that much for us.”
The outbreak of COVID-19 caused statewide closure of schools, stay-at-home orders and required social distancing. WHHS cancelled all events in April and May and plans to reschedule at a later date.
