In an attempt to make checkout easier for their customers, JetBlue became the first airline to allow Venmo as a form of payment. The airline said customers will now be able to purchase their tickets online through their Venmo balance, linked bank account, as well as credit cards and debit cards.

The online payment service will be available to customers purchasing tickets online at JetBlue.com and is said to appear soon on the JetBlue mobile app.

Currently, this alternative form of payment is only available to US users; the company has not released further plans on expanding this initiative to other countries.
