Each year, the Mount Washington Community gathers to dispose of their pumpkins at the Mount Washington Pumpkin Chuck event. 

The event consists of medieval trebuchets launching pumpkins down a hill with live music. Guests also learn about fossils and enjoy food, face painting and more. 

The event was hosted at Stanberry Park and took place on Nov. 2. 

To launch a random pumpkin, visitors had to pay $5. While those who brought their own pumpkins paid $15 to launch them.
