This presidential election cycle has set new records in campaign fundraising, as Vice President Kamala Harris raised more than $1 billion within three months.

This sudden influx in campaign funds gave the Democrats a lead in fundraising over the Republicans, and reportedly raised over three times more than former President Donald Trump during this period. 

While both Trump and Biden were able to hit the $1 billion mark during the 2020 election, this milestone was achieved after a longer period.

With increased campaign finances, Harris can spend the final weeks of the election fully focused on campaigning for votes.
