Students at The Ohio State University protest for Palestine

Throughout the past few weeks, students at universities and colleges across the country have participated in protests to end their respective institutions’ financial connections with Israel.

During the week of April 20, students at The Ohio State University carried out a series of protests.

On April 21, two students were arrested during a peaceful protest. On April 22, three students and staff were arrested for attempting to set up camp on the South Oval. Finally, on April 23, 16 affiliated and 20 unaffiliated people were arrested after they participated in tent reconstruction and prayer.

Multiple protestors sustained injuries after April 23, and videos of interactions between the police and protesters continue to be circulated.
