Seventeen WHHS students have received scholarships for study abroad programs all over the world: Argentina, France, Japan, Morocco, Spain, Taiwan and Germany.
The Council on International Educational Exchange awarded a guarantee of $25,000 for these scholarships, and combined with last year’s scholarships, WHHS has received more than $111,000.
WHHS has also been chosen as a Global Navigator school, an award that is only given to 100 high schools nationwide.
