In her second year as a Remembrancer staff member, Penda Dabo is excited to work as the Managing Editor of School Life. She is hoping to make a memorable yearbook that students can fondly look back upon. She also wants to be there for her team, and make sure deadlines are met in a timely fashion.

Dabo started her journalism journey last year and has learned so much in just one year. She has previous qualification such as News Writing class, Digital Imaging and Photography, which are all key aspects in creating a yearbook. 

Dabo is also part of Youth Philanthropy Council as the Co-head of fundraising and the Vice President of the Muslim Student Association. She enjoys being an active member of her school committee and creating a positive school environment.   

Dabo hopes to major in either biology/biomedical and be part of a larger movement that strives to breakdown barrier that block access to affordable and accessible healthcare. 

Dabo enjoys baking pastries with her friends. She is also an avid reader, who loves murder mysteries and physiological thrillers
