Zoe Cummings, Remembrancer Staff
In her first year as a Remembrancer member staff member, Zoe Cummings is excited to work as a monthlies section staffer.
Cummings hopes to reach out to students who don’t usually get their stories told, using fun mods to engage the WHHS community more fully, because every story matters.
Cummings has been an active member of the WHHS writing community for several years, starting with her participation in the slam poetry team her sophomore year.
Since then, she has given nationally recognized speeches for companies like P&G and the Freedom Center, in hopes to use her voice to positively affect change.
Cummings is also a member of Student Government, the Vice President of her choir and is a varsity cheerleader.
Cummings hopes to study at Howard University, majoring in broadcast communications and journalism and work as a political analyst on a large network like CNN or MSNBC.
In her free time Cummings enjoys singing, yoga and coming up with new amazing recipes.
