Sarah Gebremeskel, General Reporter
In her first year as a Chatterbox staff member, freshman Sarah Gebremeskel is thrilled to work as a features section writer. She hopes to dive deeper into the lives and stories of the individuals who make WHHS what it is.
This is Gebremeskel’s first year working with Chatterbox, and she is very excited to see what follows in the years to come. Gebremeskel plans on continuing to write for Chatterbox throughout her time at Walnut and until graduation. She most likes the opportunities and community in Walnut’s Journalism Department, along with the fantastic people.
Gebremeskel serves as president for the Class of 2025 here at Walnut, works as a Student Ambassador, is a member of the Model United Nations club, and is a member of HOSA (Healthcare Occupations Students of America). Gebremeskel is also a member of Walnut’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, as well as the Student Voices Team. After graduation, she plans on attending college and receiving a degree in either Neuroscience or Journalism with a pre-med focus, followed by medical school, and residency.
Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, working on her acting skills, brushing up on her modeling abilities, and learning more about medicine. When she is not taking part in any of those activities, she is usually catching up on her favorite TV shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, and Dawson’s Creek.
