In her first year as a Remembrancer staff member, Naomi Abel is enthusiastic to work as a Remembrancer Writer for Student Life this school year. Abel aims to develop a memorable yearbook that reflects her SENIOR year in a positive way. 

Abel has some previous experience in journalism writing from taking many AP English classes and practicing her writing there. In her free time, she also enjoys writing literature, short stories and journals for fun. 

In addition, Abel is a member of Girls to Women, Black Culture Club, and has been on the cheer team all her years at WHHS. Outside of school Abel enjoys doing art, staying active and traveling.

Abel hopes to study journalism in her near future and is still thinking about her choice for college.
