In her first year as a Chatterbox staff member, Miriam Monroe is excited to work as a writer for Fine Arts. She is planning to improve her writing skills, learn more about WHHS’s fine art program and have fun working on the Chatterbox this year!

Monroe has done a journalism elective for one semester at her elementary school but this is her first time working on a real paper. However, she writes frequently at home as well.

Monroe also has  done volleyball and ballet and is planning on joining the Books for Kids Club and/or the Boo Radley Club. 

Monroe hopes to go to college on the east coast and possibly become an environmentalist or a marine biologist. 

In her free time Monroe enjoys reading and hanging out with her friends.
