In her first year as a Remembrancer staff member, Kayla Mitchell is excited to work as a Remembrance Writer for Monthlies. Her goal this year is to make everyone at WHHS feel heard. 

Mitchell wishes to build a tighter community between her and her peers.  

Mitchell is also on the varsity cheerleading team and in Black Culture Club at WHHS. She is very passionate about activism and plans to go to college to become a lawyer that specializes in family affairs. 

 In her free time, Mitchell loves hanging out with friends and making new memories that will last for a lifetime.
