Gavin Kursman, Opinions Section Editor

In his second year as a Chatterbox Staff member, Gavin Kursman is thrilled to work as the Opinions Section Editor. Kursman is seeking to explore the journalism and publication process while also sourcing and providing controversial and thought-provoking opinions for the paper.

Kursman is a rower for Great Miami Rowing Club, an assistant coach for their middle school team, a lacrosse referee, a member of the WHHS Model United Nations team, and the Alumni Reunion Coordinator for the South West Ohio Hugh O’ Brian Youth Leadership Association. He also volunteers with adaptive athletes and tutors peers and younger students.

Kursman hopes to attend a college that will best prepare him for his future. He looks to excel in either law or business.

Kursman also enjoys skiing, playing cards, taking his golden retrievers on walks, and writing poetry.
