Alonna Johnson, Managing Editor of Student Life
In her second year as a Chatterbox staff member, Alonna Johnson is excited to work as the Managing Editor of Student Life. Her goal this year is to make the Chatterbox inclusive and welcoming to the entire student body.
Johnson was a sports writer previously before coming to her current role on the EICM.
Besides being a Chatterbox club member, she participates in Douglas Elementary mentor program, Black Culture Club and wants to be a Cappies writer this year. She likes talking and participating in arguments, as she tends to win most. When she is not arguing, Johnson is completing her fiction novel.
She plans to attend Syracuse University and major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. Johnson plans on becoming a sports journalist specializing in the fields of football, mixed martial arts, and wrestling.
In Johnson’s free time, she enjoys watching pay-per-views over mixed martial arts, playing frustrating video games, hanging out with her friends and completing her fiction novel.
