Addyson Warren, Sports Writer

During her first year as a member of the Chatterbox staff, Addyson Warren,’25, was a dedicated writer and passionate about creating articles that help strengthen WHHS community.

Some skills she gained from this amazing class is time management, scheduling interviews, social skills when interviewing new people to get useful quotes from them, and taking good quality pictures.

Womens’ rugby practices Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. at Evanston Playground to prepare for their season. “It's not sponsored by CPS, so we got girls from public schools, homeschools and private schools, and we all come together and we work as a team,” Trinity Charles ‘26, an athlete in the program, said.

During her time at the University of Akron, Shauniece Steele was able to find a good balance. “I did end up joining some clubs and Greek life,” Steele said. “I was like ‘I think I could do this and use sports as an avenue to advocate that you can be a student athlete and have good grades but also have a life.’”
