Recently, the Disney+ streaming service has released a major catalogue teeming with original shows, Marvel movies, ‘Star Wars’ animated series and classic Disney movies.

Now, more than ever, streaming services are popping up seemingly from nowhere and are driving the competition surrounding online movie, TV show, and documentary streaming. Most recently, the Disney+ streaming service has released a major catalogue teeming with original shows, Marvel movies, Star Wars animated series and classic Disney movies that all of the OG’s will remember.

We have to start off with classic childhood nostalgia: Disney+ has absolute bangers such as 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, Cinderella, Bambi, Brother Bear, Beauty and the Beast, Bugs Life, Garfield: The Movie, Peter Pan, the Home Alone series, Inspector Gadget, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Mulan, Tarzan, National Treasure and The Sandlot. Even further, Avatar (the blue people one), the Herbie series, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Pirates of the Caribbean series and the Chronicles of Narnia

But you did not come here to see the key elements, you know those, so here it is: the sleepers. These are the movies you may or may not have watched, the ones waaaay under the radar, and the cheesy ones with a good laugh and even more laughable quotes. I am not going to give you any clues as to my favorites so this will be list-style:

  • The Mighty Ducks
  • The Finest Hours
  • G-Force
  • Glory Road
  • Holes
  • John Carter
  • The Lone Ranger
  • Remember the Titans
  • Secretariat
  • The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
  • Tron and Tron: Legacy

That list should keep you busy. Keep in mind, I am aware that many people know and love some of these movies, what I am trying to say here is that these movies are getting bottom-of-the-barrel treatment next to the Disney classics, Star Wars and Marvel.

Since we got the important Disney movies out of the way, now I get to inform you of something you already know: Disney+ has all the big Marvel movies and the Star Wars movies. Now for something you might not know: Disney+ plans to release multiple series for both Marvel and Star Wars such as: an untitled Rogue One series, an untitled Obi-Wan series, Marvel 616, She-Hulk, and even more potential plans that we do not even know about.

With a significant range of movies and shows to watch, Disney+ has solidified itself as a true streaming service and has a good list of sleepers to watch, which is the only reason I stream anyway. Disney+ is something to keep an eye on for the next five years because Disney has got the dollars to keep pumping out series’ we did not even know we needed.
