The Banks, Cincinnati’s riverfront public plaza, recently announced new age restrictions in specific areas. Effective immediately, only individuals 21 and older will be permitted entry into the identified areas on Friday and Saturday nights after 10 p.m.
These new policies come as a result of a city-wide increase in focus on public safety and are planned to last through at least the end of the summer.
Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval and Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge have expressed support for the initiative, although it has been privately funded and organized by The Banks.
