The SENIOR class will be making around 200 sandwiches at Ault park on April 6, from 3-5pm, to distribute to those in need. StuCo worked with Our Daily Bread, a soup kitchen and social center, to organize the community-oriented event.
“Since a lot of StuCo is about planning stuff in school, we wanted that opportunity to help people outside of school,” Maya Sampath, ’25, president of StuCo 2025, said.
This event will both provide a bonding opportunity for the SENIOR class and benefit the community.
“It will be a fun opportunity,” Sampath said. “It doesn’t take much energy to put some peanut butter and jelly on some bread, but at the same time, you’re giving back to the community.”
