After the meeting between Zelensky and Trump on Feb. 28, tensions have increased between the United States and Ukraine.

What began as a talk for a rare mineral deal quickly became a heated argument ending in Zelensky being asked to leave the White House.

This largely sprouted from Trump and Vance accusing Zelensky of not seeking peace and being ungrateful to the U.S.

Recently, Trump halted military shipments to Ukraine in an effort to force them to the negotiation table seeking peace. In a statement on X, Zelensky maintained his pursuit of peace. 

“Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians,” Zelensky said.

It seems probable that peace negotiations will begin soon in hopes to bring an end to the war.
