Winter Storm Enzo is making its way across a large portion of the southern United States. Areas of Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Texas are seeing heavy snowfall as well as ice.

The storm prompted the first-ever blizzard warning for parts of the Gulf Coast, where many businesses and schools are closed due to the severe weather. The storm even impacted operations at major airports across the southeast and shut down areas of Interstate 10, a major thoroughfare in the region.

The storm is part of a larger system that is spreading across the North American continent and is currently bringing dangerously cold wind chills to portions of the central and eastern U.S.
