The West Coast recently came face-to-face with a strong, deadly bomb cyclone that contained hurricane-force wind gusts. So far, the cyclone has killed two people and caused widespread power outages.
One woman in her 50s passed away after a tree fell on the homeless camp where she lived.
Out of the 500,000 total power outages reported across western Washington, 79,000 of those came from the Seattle metro area.
This cyclone is expected to continue its path of destruction and hit Montana and Nebraska next, with anticipated wind gusts of up to 60 mph. Officials in North Dakota have advised travelers not to pass through as more states are speculated to be hit with harsh weather conditions.
