Timothée Chalamet, the American-French actor, recently opened up about being told he needed to change his body for certain major film roles.
Chalamet shared in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that his agent told him to “put on some weight.” However, Chalamet added that it wasn’t an aggressive persuasion but rather more a simple push, according to People.
Chalamet added that he had auditioned for many roles, such as “The Maze Runner,” “Divergent” and many more ,but received bodily feedback such as not having the ‘right body’.
Chalamet took these experiences to help him shine in Hollywood, selecting roles that feel more personalized to him. Such roles include blockbuster hits such as “Wonka” and “Dune,” which racked up over $200 million of success.
