On Sunday, Oct. 27, a contest was held in NYC’s Washington Square Park to determine who looks the most similar to actor Timothee Chalamet. The winner received a giant paper check for $50. 

Thousands attended the event, and Chalamet reportedly made an appearance. As a result of the unexpectedly high crowd, authorities fined the contest’s organizers $500.

A young man dressed up as Willy Wonka, one of Chalamet’s recent notable roles, won the contest.
