A live performance by Rihanna, luxury “glamping” tents, and hundreds of dishes were just some highlights of the pre-wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant that took place from March 1-3. 

The event, which included over a thousand guests, was held by Anant’s father, Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia.

Most notably, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Deepika Padikone and Ivanka Trump flew in to the party in Jamnagar, Gujarat. With the massive amount of people attending, the local airport received temporary international status.

Rihanna showed up to her first performance since the 2023 Super Bowl wearing a custom Swarovski-embellished green dress and sang hits such as “Work,” “All of the Lights” and “Diamonds.”

“The show was the best,” Rihanna said in a TikTok after the event. “I haven’t done a real show in eight years.”

The actual wedding of Ambani and Merchant is set to take place in Mumbai in July, and even more extravagance is anticipated.
