Megan Scudder

Megan Scudder, Managing Editor of School Life

In her second year as a remembrancer staff member, Megan Scudder is committed to fulfilling her role as Managing Editor of School Life.

It is also her first year on Chatterbox staff, as she is exploring her excitement for journalistic writing further. Megan’s goal for this year is to fully express her creativity and writing style while motivating others to do the same.

Scudder is President of Yoga club and Sources of Strength, and she is in  Steel band.

Scudder plans on attending college and studying Marketing. Scudder enjoys writing and practicing yoga in her free time.

While gaining comfort with his original piece, Birl reads his poetry aloud to the team. He will soon have his poem memorized and advance to perfecting his delivery and slamming the poem. After school, Birl usually spends his time training for football, but this year he is carving out time to dedicate to the Poetry Slam Team.

When WHHS Staff reward students with Eagle Bucks, students earn a slip of paper representing the Eagle Buck which states the reason for earning it. The Eagle Buck is also entered online by the Staff member who assigned it. This way the credit is immediately sent to the SOAR Store.

Stelzer is enjoying the change after teaching at Turpin from the very beginning of her career up until last year. She is getting more personal time to be with her kids, and is loving that.
