LavaBURSTING back to the menu
Orange Hi-C Lavaburst if finally coming back to the McDonald’s menu after four years away
After nearly four years away, Orange Hi-C Lavaburst is making its way back to a McDonald’s near you.
Orange Hi-C Lavaburst first made its debut onto the McDonald’s menu next to another already popular orange drink in 1955, the carbonated Orange Fanta. It held its coveted place on the menu nationwide until 2017.
Orange Hi-C has been missing from McDonald’s menus nationwide ever since 2017. And since it’s disappearance fans and lovers of the popular drink have been asking for its return via Tweets, Direct Messages and Emails to McDonald’s.
People even went as far to start petitions to bring the drink back when it went away in 2017.
Well, it looks like McDonald’s heard our wishes because the drink started appearing in select stores in February.
According to corporate.mcdonalds.com, the social media manager said “WE DID IT! Sure, I created the very impressive Hi-C® Orange Lavaburst presentation for my boss, but I couldn’t have done it without you all, the real MVPs!”
McDonald’s then tweeted to their twitter account “Nice representation. Hi-C Lavaburst will officially come back on the menu at all U.S. restaurants by this summer 2021.”
As aforementioned, the beloved drink has already started appearing in select stores. If you want to find it near you McDonald’s has made it easier for you to do so.
Simply go to the McDonald’s Lavaburst Tracker and put in your ZIP code. This will bring up all the locations closest to you that have the drink on their menu.
Let’s gear up for a Summer full of Orange Hi-C Lavaburst because it’s finally coming back.
