Note: Not all Dunkin’ locations have every single donut; this is an opinionated ranking from my experience.
Consensus or words like it refer to an average of donut rankings made by overlapping lists from Business Insider, Cheapism, Tasting Table, FoodSided, Eat This, Not That and Let’s Eat Cake.
The jelly donut was good but not amazing. The dough was quite thick and the taste wasn’t very special. However the donut typically comes in most donut rankings, but I don’t think it deserves it. The Jelly donut was solid but not outstanding. So overall the quality was a solid 8.0/10.
The Boston Kreme was great, especially the dough, which was amazingly light and fluffy. The general agreement I found was that Boston Kreme was the 4th best donut at Dunkin’, and I was not let down. The “Kreme” itself was my favorite part. When paired with the chocolate icing, it got even better. However, it was just a little too sweet for me, so the donut would be a great choice if you’re into sweeter foods.
Originally first in consensus the Chocolate Glazed was great. The dough was outstanding, and while Chocolate Glazed may be basic, it has stood the test of time because of how simple yet good it is. Chocolate may not be my thing, but it is for a lot of people. Though this was a great donut, it was not the best Dunkin’ kind of quality.
This was the donut that took the farthest leap, from fifth place to second. It was so surprisingly amazing, and the apples were the best part because they were so soft. I loved the cinnamon taste, and the glaze worked so well with the other flavors, making this my new go-to. My only complaint is that I wanted more filling because it was my favorite part. I feel like I only found filling in the dead center of the donut.
The most iconic donut ever, and also the best even if it was second in consensus. I don’t know if I’ve ever met someone who didn’t like a glazed donut, and that’s because it’s the most basic combination but just perfect. My favorite parts were the simple taste and the soft and fluffy texture. No complaints from me here. I really loved this one.
