In his 4th year as a Chatterbox staff member, Ibrahim Munir is ecstatic to work as the Managing Editor of Viewpoints! This year, he hopes to create a stronger connection with the student body through The Chatterbox and write about the stories the students truly care about.
Munir has been a Chatterbox staff member for 4 years, starting as a writer for News and Features and being a section editor and managing editor for News and Features in previous years. He has attended the JEA/NSPA national conventions twice, and won Superior and Excellent writing awards. Munir is also a part of the Quill and Scroll Journalism Honor Society.
Munir also is a member of the Harvard Model United Nations club, Philosophy Club, Ultimate Frisbee team, plays select soccer for TUMFC, and runs a clothing brand/collective called Brown Fire Nation.
Munir hopes to figure out where he wants to attend college, as well as figuring out his intended major. He is somewhat leaning towards Business.
Munir enjoys spending time with his friends and being outdoors.
