Celebrity style at the Golden Globes

The 2021 Golden Globes were presented virtually from New York City and Beverly Hills due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. But, this didn’t stop several stars from serving looks, both on the red carpet and from the haven of private locations.

Regina King stunned in a form-fitting black Louis Vuitton gown with one shoulder and a center feature of 40,000 silver, gold, and black sequins running the length of the dress. King complemented the look with jewelry consisting of nearly 50 carats of Forevermark diamonds, valued at almost $2 million.

Satchel appeared in a black gown with silver embellishments, a thigh-high slit and cut-outs over each collar-bone and at the center of the bodice. Jackson wore a stylish green robe with ornamental detailing and thick red cuffs over a black suit.

Bassett accessorised with sapphire and diamond earrings and a $13,525 Graziela ring, along with a Dena Kemp ring.

Anya Taylor-Joy served two custom Dior looks. The first was a shimmering, emerald green gown with a plunging V-neckline, matching heels and a large cape; the second dress was simple yet elegant, strapless and made of white satin. Taylor-Joy completed the look with shimmering teardrop earrings and a 14 carat Tiffany & Co. diamond pendant necklace.

Kaley Cuoco showed off an extravagant Oscar de la Renta look. The Cinderella-style ball gown was strapless and had silver star detailing on the bodice and skirt. Cuoco paired the dress with jewels from Harry Winston and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Every star on both the virtual and live Golden Globes red carpet showed us that even a pandemic can’t stop anyone from strutting their stuff.
