During her one year as a member of the Remembrancer staff, Destiny Chanel Crooks, ’26, is proud of helping create the yearbook and being part of a team that worked hard to capture important memories for students.

Working on staff taught her responsibility, dedication, and the importance of teamwork. She enjoyed seeing all the hard work come together and hopes the yearbook will continue to bring students together and preserve meaningful moments for years to come.

During her time on staff, Crooks gained skills in hard work, time management, and commitment. Staying up late to finish assignments and understanding the amount of effort needed to complete projects helped her become more responsible and determined. These experiences taught her the value of putting time and care into everything she does, skills she hopes to carry with her into the future.

Crooks plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study Political Science with a focus in Gender and Multicultural Politics, along with a minor in Pre-Law. She hopes to use her education to make a positive impact in her community and advocate for others.
