In his first year as a Walnut Student Media publications staff member, Abdoul Dieng (Dj-Eng)  is excited to work as a photographer/videographer.

Dieng has previously taken a semester in photography and has a high interest in it. Though Dieng doesn’t have any other prior experience in reporting, he’s eager to expand his knowledge and implement photographic sophistication in his work. 

Dieng is also pursuing another semester of photography, a course that interests him and challenges his photographic abilities. His past experience allows for a firm understanding of the meaning of photography, and responsibility as a photographer.

Dieng hopes to seek higher learning. His dream is to attend the Airforce Academy and graduate with officership. Dieng is also interested in attending Miami University or UC. Either way, he wants to pursue a career in computer science or mechanical engineering. While at college he hopes to build many relationships, expand his reach on photography and other things

In his free time, Dieng  enjoys playing guitar and watching movies and TV shows. One of his favorite series that he just completed was “The Wire”. He also enjoys taking strolls in parks and spending time with his family and friends. He also passes time by partaking in physical activities.
