Bam Adebayo passes Kobe Bryant for the second most points in a NBA game

On March 10, Bam Adebayo scored 83 points against the Washington Wizards, passing Kobe Bryant for the second most points scored in a NBA game.

Adebayo’s coach Erik Spoelstra, “didn’t dare even think about taking him out,” Spoelstra said.

Bam scored 43 points in the first half and then 40 points in the second half.

However, fans across the league are discrediting him of his achievement because of the way it was earned. Adebayo shot 43 free throws and made 36 of them while Bryant shot 20 free throws during his 81 point game, making 18 of them. Adebayo shot 3 less shots than Bryant.
