Donald Trump’s State of the Union sets record for longest ever

The record for the longest State of the Union Address ever has just been broken by President Donald Trump, beating his own previous record from 2025.

On Feb. 24, Trump delivered a speech discussing his ‘record-breaking’ achievements in economics, tariffs and immigration. Trump says he is responsible for the turnaround in the country.

The current State of the Union Address 2026 record under the Trump administration is now one hour and 47 minutes.
