Candid chords:
Nash Royalty, '29
Nash Royalty, freshman choir

Q: If you had to describe choir concerts in three words, what would they be?

A: Nerve-wracking, worthwhile and fun.

Nash Royalty, ’29 (Mariam Barry)

Q: Has choir changed the way you feel about performing in front of big crowds?

A: In a way, it has. I still get scared, but when you’re performing with a group of people, it helps ease the fear.

Stephen Chen, vocal ensemble

Q: Are you usually nervous, excited or chill about performing? Why?

A: When I first joined choir, I was more nervous than excited, but I’ve been doing this for a while so it’s all excitement.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about performing with your class?

A: It’s very nice to have a class with only girls because the boys held us back.
