From a small town in Germany, Miriam Creutz, ’27, was amazed by the size of WHHS on her first day. She’s joined Theater Crew and German Club, both of which have helped her make new friends. One of her favorite memories so far has been painting the stage floor during a crew workday. “Join clubs and after school activities,” Creutz said. “Choose classes you really like.”

One of her biggest challenges was communicating in English, but she’s learning quickly. Her host family has been a huge part of her adjustment. “Studying abroad helps you know more about the world,” Keying said. “Get out of the comfort zone.”
