The rush to fill cabinet positions has begun following Donald Trump’s victory last week in the presidential election.
So far, Trump appointed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, a role that is expected to be extremely important as the United States navigates a world that is plagued by conflict in the Middle East and Europe.
Trump also chose Susie Wiles to be his chief of staff, a significant pick given that she would be the first woman ever to serve in the role under any administration.
In addition to these picks, Trump selected Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk to head the Department of Government Efficiency, a government agency he intends to establish to eliminate government bureaucracy and reduce excess spending.
