Green Club gardens for WHHS

Green Club focuses on gardening at WHHS to keep the campus as green and beautiful as possible.

SENIOR Anna Brooks, Co-president of the Green Club, said, “It’s kind of like a little break, and it’s a chance after school for you to just be outside and garden and get fresh vegetables and flowers.”

The club maintains the courtyard outside the Arts and Science Building that is filled with various plants, including many vegetables, which the club donates to a local food bank. During the winter, the club takes on smaller projects such as a recent cell phone recycling project.

Overall, Green Club focuses on enjoying what nature has to offer and giving back to the WHHS community and the Earth as much as they can.
